We are a uniformed organisation which encourages belonging and responsibility and helps to create and maintain discipline and self respect. It prevents barriers which can arise because of varying economic and social backgrounds.
1st FILEY GIRLS' BRIGADE JOIN US NOW! Are you aged between 5 & 8 Years Do you enjoy making friends and having lots of fun . . . then Explorers is the place for you We love to n:vestigate in Explorers!! We get up to all sorts of exciting things, like making crafts, playing games, sharing stories, finding out about Jesus . . . Are you aged between 8 & 11 Years If you enjoy . . . . . meeting fantastic friends . . . playing great games . . . making cool craft . . . learning fab facts . . . then Juniors is the place for you to be n:rgetic!We love to have so much fun in the juniors! It’s great to be able to put our n:rg into things that we enjoy doing. We can find out more about Jesus through things like special events and roadshows and care for the people in our community by helping them . . . . there really is just so much to do – it’s great!! Are you aged between 11 & 14 Years N:Counta……….Each year Seniors will spend some time looking at spiritual things and doing some physical things. You will be learning about new stuff in the educational section and getting involved with helping others in the service section. At the end of each year you will get a badge to reward you for all the hard work you have put in. Are you aged over 14 years N:spire In Brigaders you enter the final part of the journey through the SPES files. In each stage you will do activities from each section of the SPES files plus do an extra activity from any of the sections you like! Take Part in Competitions with other Girls in the Yorkshire area & beyond.Make life long friendships 2nite, I’m learning 2 dance,reading a map,visiting a farm,playing ball,painting a picture,baking a ca ke,watching a film, playing with the parachute,singing a few songs,making lots of new friends,going down to the beach,reading a story, d-signing a poster,learning another language,making cards,and learning loads of new things. What are you doing? EXPLORERS: 6 – 7.30pm AGE: 5 to 8 years JUNIORS: 6 TO 7.30PM AGE: 8 to 11 years SENIORS: 6 to 8pm AGE: 11 to 14 years BRIGADERS/YOUNG LEADERS AGE: 14 years and over 6 to 8.15pm
